KJ Golf brings golf coaching into schools. We offer long term golf academies for schools in order to enable them to offer golf as one of their sports. We follow the same programme as we do in our Junior Academies and use the same app/skills cards. We have specialist equipment that is flexible to suit your facilities. We can even offer taster sessions and feed into the Junior Academy and Shires Junior Golf Tour.

We follow the same elite development programme as we do at the Junior Academy. This means we follow the same app and ensure all players receive a skills card and videos on how to improve.
We once again ensure groups are split into developmental ages and we will be teaching the appropriate drills, games and exercises for each age group.
Our desire is to work with each school with the long term view to ensure players improve and have a pathway into the game if they really enjoy it.

Of course, players can join the junior programme at Market Harborough Golf Club.

Juniors can join the golf club and play on the course, gain a handicap and participate in club competitions.
The Shires Junior Golf Tour
Players can represent their school and compete in the junior tour. This is a fantastic way to put your skills to the test, play different courses and gain a handicap.
New for 2024! All players that KJ Golf teach in schools have a chance to represent their school in each Shires competitions.
The school logo you represent will be displayed on the leaderboard at each competition. Each event players receive Order of Merit points.
The players from the school with the highest points average per player at the end of the year will take the the title of Champion School along with the trophy.

We are actively looking for new schools to work with – even if it just a conversation to begin with. We would love to discuss how we can implement a taster session, 6 week programme or a full year and beyond golf academy at your school.
No, we work with all schools. If your school has enough space I am sure we can create a fantastic programme implementing all skills in golf. If not, we are happy to come along for a taster session and advertise our academy and tour.
Simply inform your school about us. Usually Head of Sport or the Head Teacher. Alternatively, please provide the best email and we will get in touch.
It depends on facilities and age group. If we have enough space we will use real golf clubs and balls. If not then we have specialist GolPhin and GolfWay equipment.
We are willing to travel up to 1 hour away for golf academies and taster sessions. 6-week blocks may differ.
